Help Build Better Estimating Software for Contractors

We are preparing to launch a new construction estimating application designed for contractors who want a practical, straightforward way to build estimates without the complexity and cost of traditional enterprise estimating software.

The app is being built around the way contractors and estimators actually work. It can be used for concrete, excavation, grading, sitework, dirt work, commercial construction, residential construction, and other self-performed or subcontracted scopes.

The goal of the beta program is simple: put the software in the hands of real contractors, find out what works, find out what does not, and improve it before the public release.

What the App Can Do

Beta testers will be able to test features such as:

• Build estimates using Bid Items and Activities

• Create and reuse labor and equipment crews

• Calculate work using production rates

• Add labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and other costs

• Apply markup and calculate unit pricing

• Build and maintain your own pricing database

• Import supplier and subcontractor quotes

• Automatically extract quote pricing and contact information

• Save suppliers and subcontractors for future use

• Use concrete, rebar, formwork, excavation, aggregate, and trucking calculators

• Enter quantities quickly and track quantity details

• Compare current pricing with your own previous projects

• Generate proposals and estimate reports

• Export estimate information

• Back up and restore project data

Additional public-works features may also be tested separately, including ODOT historical pricing, QPL information, specification requirements, and municipal code/standard lookups.

When Does Beta Testing Start?

Beta access may be released in groups so we can work directly with testers, respond to problems, and improve the software as testing progresses.

The most useful testers are people who actually estimate construction work and are willing to tell us when something is confusing, slow, unnecessary, missing, or simply does not work the way a contractor would expect.
